Nelvaan Orbit

Having just departed the Nelvaan atmosphere, Rik took a moment to fiddle with his new navicomputer.

Course plotted. Replied the ship's computer in a cool feminine voice.
Oooowww Rik replied. But just before he throttled up to engage his hyperdrive in the correct vector he stopped. Something wasn't right. And it wasn't just the voice of the computer. Rik quickly tore his hands from the controls and held them up in the air as if someone had just stuck a blaster barrel to the small of his back. This feeling... He recognized it. It was as familiar as a childhood pet, a wife's smile, the spring breeze in the treetops after a long winter. It was the Force, his friend, and ally. And Coruscant was definitely the wrong direction. So the Jedi closed his eyes, emptied his mind of all distractions, and asked, Where is my friend? Where is Andrew James Valor? The answer wasn't immediate. It wasn't profound. Instead it was a little tug as if someone had tied a string to his heart and gently guided him around in the right direction. Rik followed with his hands, guiding the ship as the Force guided him. He opened his eyes to the constellation in front of him. His eyes locked on one in particular, and he knew. He quickly targeted it with his HUD and let the navicomputer do its thing.

He wagged his head at the voice. Gotta change that latter. Too distracting He cleared his mind once more and smiled. Second star to the right and straight on till morning. ENGAGE! Rik slammed the throttle forward and shot into that blizzard of blue and white that is hyperspace.
