Originally a rugged, lush world, and the site of an ancient Jedi library in eons past. Thousands of years ago the climate and atmosphere were cripplingly damaged into an irradiated desert world ravaged by chemical storms. Gradually that damage healed over millennia until Ossus was once again a mostly lush and populated world.
