Taris A planet once covered entirely by immense cityscapes and vast oceans, Taris is a world whose face has changed much over the course of millennia. Many of the planet's continents still play host to expansive skyscraping metropoli, but many other portions have been reclaimed by nature. Especially in the northern Hemisphere, where the destruction of the Jedi Civil War was never undone, swamps have overtaken the lowland cities, while the more mountainous northern reaches have seen the skeletal remnants of civilization crumble altogether, leaving nature to reclaim.
Even so, Taris thrives on in its own particular ways, and remains a stark picture of metropolitan civilization in the outer rim.
Bakura A temperate green and blue planet with mountains, valleys, planes, and small seas, all which are characterized by abundant cloud cover and high levels of rainfall. Most of Bakura's sentient inhabitants are descendants of human colonists, while about 5% are the native Kurtzen species.
There are significant mineral deposits and natural resources. The planet's primary industries center around manufacture of repulsorlift generators, and of exporting Namana fruit products. Historical disapproval of droids, combined with high tariffs, led to a nearly total absence of droids on Bakura. The possession of droids or droid technology is only allowed with official permission and several permits. There was a Jedi retreat in the Northern mountains.
Bespin An immense gas giant planet containing of habitable atmosphere, where most of the population is located.
