Remnant Jedi Temple
When so many Light Force Users vanished nearly a generation ago, the Coruscant Temple was hardest hit. The Jedi Order seemed stripped overnight of nearly all its Force-trained members. Left behind, the Jedi’s support Order of guardians, service members, and other caretakers picked up the pieces as best they could.
As the Temple’s non-Force members recovered from the initial loss, the troops and caretakers (and an extremely few left-behind Jedi) kept in contact with their limited allies and worked as best they could to continue their duty. Many of these personnel gave their lives in the early power struggles when enemies made several attempts to take over the suddenly weakened Temple, until a new balance settled in.
At present time, the Temple is mostly home to a small support Order of guardians, caretakers, troops, medics, and others who work with the city and government on a limited basis.
Most of the massive ancestral complex of is currently sealed and unused to conserve resources. Three of the four “lesser” towers are unlit. In the fourth tower, there is always a light left shining.
